HKUST Global Business (GBUS) Program is bringing back their flagship event – HKUST Global Leadership Forum (GLF). Incepted in 2009, the Forum held twice a year invites a business or community leader to share with the students insights on leadership and other latest topics in the society. This event also provides an excellent platform for students to learn from and exchange with respected speakers.
With “Entrepreneurship” as the theme, the evening forum invited distinguished guests from the Cyberport Hong Kong, including its CEO Mr. Peter YAN, Chief Public Mission Officer Ir. Eric CHAN, and Chief Corporate Development Officer Mr. Ian CHAN.
The keynote speaker of the night, Mr. Peter Yan shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship and start-ups in Hong Kong with the topic “When the Sky Is the Limit, Are You Ready to Catch Dreams?”.
Joining Mr. Yan (right) on stage was a panel sharing about the journey and entrepreneurial spirit by start-up entrepreneurs. They included (from the left) Mr. Michael LO, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Elastick Tech, and HKUST alumni; Mr. Lewis YAU (1997, BBA (ISMT-IS)), Founder & CEO of ShirtStylist and Stylespace.ai; and Mr. Randal HUNG (2011, BBA (OM)) Co-Founder & CEO of VIMOS.
The participants found the Forum very insightful and looked forward to the upcoming Forum next Spring.
