The Business School undergraduate (UG) program saw exciting developments come through regarding international learning experience. In early 2022, our UG students successfully participated in the first-ever Global Network (GN) Week at various top business schools globally including IE Business School in Spain and the University of New South Wales in Australia.
This unique opportunity to pursue intensive study in another network school of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) marked the first time GN Week, previously exclusive to postgraduate students only, was made available to UG students. Participating UG students were able to accelerate their classes while earning credits. Learning alongside with fellow students in different time zones, they pursued a week of study at an international university of their choice virtually, and had the chance to network with some of the brightest minds while working on a current, real-world business problem.
Taking the GN Week at IE Business School in Spain, Aayush Prashant GALA, a final year BBA student, commended the international study initiative. He appreciated the opportunity to learn from leaders in the technology field through workshops and work with students from around the world to develop an emerging tech project.
CHEN Yuye, a Year 1 BBA student, found her GN Week experience rewarding and unforgettable. She learned about Mexican economics and culture in the online module offered at EGADE Business School in Mexico. By developing an entry strategy for a green company, she gained insights into the sustainability industry and also made friends with outstanding students from Mexico and Australia.
GNAM is a consortium of top graduate business schools such as Yale, UC Berkeley, HEC Paris, University of Oxford, and more.
