Mr Alvis TANG Tsz Yeung, a student from the Economics and Finance (ECOF) program, was named a finalist for the 2021 Mr Armin and Mrs Lillian Kitchell Undergraduate Research Award. Supervised by Professor Sujata VISARIA from the Department of Economics, Alvis’s project explored the “Social Networks and Financial Choices of Filipino Domestic Workers in Hong Kong.”
Given out by the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), the award recognizes nominated students who have completed one of five UROP courses. An award presentation ceremony was held online on April 23 to celebrate the students’ achievements.
