Two Year-3 undergraduate business students, CHOI Hiu Tung (BBA in Finance & Management) and HO Heily Hei Yin (BBA in Management) won the first runner-up title for their outstanding papers and presentations at the HKICS Corporate Governance Paper Competition 2019.

The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) has organized the Corporate Governance Paper Competition since 2006 to raise the awareness of good governance among local undergraduate students. The theme of this year’s competition was ‘How is good governance of NGO similar to, and different from, good corporate governance of public companies?’ Only six teams were shortlisted into the final round, and the HKUST team won the first runner-up title in front of the panel judges.
