The HKUST EMBA Class 2018 completed its US Study Trip in August. The five-day trip focused on “Innovation and Technology” and the students had exceptional opportunities to learn about cutting-edge technologies in the world, including AI and Robotics. They attended talks by professors at Stanford University and visited some of the world’s largest tech companies like Google and Amazon.
The group also received a warm welcome from our HKUST alumni in Northern California. They enjoyed a splendid evening mingling with over 40 representatives from different communities, including those from the HKUST Alumni Association, the Hong Kong Association in Northern California, and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in San Francisco. The Director of HKETO spoke about the overall developments in Silicon Valley, the global center of technology and innovation.
