With the start of the new academic year, different program offices of the Business School have arranged orientation activities to welcome their new students.
With the largest population, our undergraduate programs welcomed more than 900 new students to HKUST. A diverse mix of students from 23 countries and places around the world got together on August 27 to begin their new chapter in life. A series of activities including games, dance and singing performances were arranged, making the Sports Hall filled with excitement in every corner.
Meanwhile, two cross-school/interdisciplinary programs welcomed their first cohort of students. For example, the MSc in Fintech held a symposium to welcome its maiden class. The interdisciplinary BSc in Risk Management and Business Intelligence Program has been relocated to the Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management, with a lively orientation session arranged for new students.
