The Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program hosted the global elective program in early December. As one of the most popular elective choices among the Kellogg EMBA network, over 180 senior executives from six campuses in Chicago, Vallendar, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Miami, and Beijing joined the elective week.

The Global Elective Week in HKUST was designed for participants to explore and understand topics relevant to businesses across the world, while also providing an Asian perspective to those issues. Courses offered at HKUST – “Deal Making in China and Asia”, “Understanding Consumers”, and “Value Investing” — were carefully selected to meet its goals.

A valuable feature of the global week also stems from the multitude of perspectives brought in by the participants themselves, who represent a diversity of cultures and industries.
