The HKUST Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) has received official recognition from the BGS Central Office as an “Honors Chapter” for the 2014-2015 academic year. This status is indicative of our continued effort in upholding the academic excellence of the HKUST Business School.
BGS is a long established international society that recognizes scholastic and professional achievements in business. Since the installation of the BGS Chapter on the HKUST campus in 2000, we have steadily expanded to 1920 members, including more than 120 newly inducted members for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The BGS Chapter unites top students, graduates, faculty members and distinguished leaders of the community to form a network of high achievers. This helps members to reach out to the business community through connections with the much larger local and international BGS network. Membership is open by invitation only to the top 10 per cent of undergraduates, the top 20 per cent of postgraduates, and PhD candidates.
