Awarded by: the Franklin Prize
The Franklin Prize in recognition of teaching staff for their excellence performance was presented to faculty members at a ceremony during the School Board meeting on 14 May. Professor Franklin Laurence, the prize donor, was on hand to present the plagues to all awardees and nominees, praising their outstanding performance and commitment to teaching excellence.
Six professors won the prizes for teaching excellence, and the Department of Marketing for the first time received the departmental award. The Franklin Prize established since 2001 serves to motivate all faculty to strive for excellence in teaching. A list of nominees will be evaluated by the School Appointments and Substantiation Committee (SASC) every year.
