Awarded by: Capsim Business Simulation Global Challenge
A student of MSc in ISM (Information Systems Management) Melody Chung defeated more than 1760 business students worldwide to become the first runner-up in the Capsim Business Simulation Global Challenge.
The online business simulation competition, held by a technology and services company Capsim, is designed to mimic real-world corporate challenges putting students worldwide in decision-making roles as they run a multi-million dollar company.
Business students from 36 countries competed in the challenge, with 12 finalists coming from the US, Hong Kong and other Asian countries and regions. Melody, a postgraduate student in ISM, said the challenge helped her understand the overall picture of how a company works and learn the dynamics between each department within an organization.
