Awarded by: AACSB
HKUST Business School has maintained its business and accounting accreditation by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). The accreditation is renewed for a further five years.
AACSB Accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education, and has been earned by less than five percent of the world's business programs. Since 1999, HKUST Business School has been awarded the AACSB Accreditation, becoming one of the first two Asian schools to earn the Accreditation.
Professor Kalok Chan, Acting Dean of HKUST Business School, said, “The maintenance of the AASCB Accreditation not only represents the high academic standards of our programs, but also the longstanding commitment of our faculty and staff to education excellence and continuous improvement.”
“It takes a great deal of determination to maintain AACSB Accreditation,” he added. “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to students, faculty and staff, alumni and friends of the School for their support and hard work in promoting and attaining excellence in learning and teaching.”
