HKUST Business School's full-time MBA program has been ranked by the Financial Times at number 17 in the world, the highest ever for any Hong Kong run program on the chart.
Four months ago in September 2007, the HKUST MBA was ranked by another major international agency the Economist Intelligence Unit as number 1 in Asia and number 20 in the world.
Among this year's Financial Times list for the top 100 MBA programs, 7 are from Asia Pacific. The HKUST Business School is the only representation from Hong Kong. The other schools include two from Mainland China, two from Australia, and one each from India and Singapore.
The HKUST MBA program ranks number 2 in the world for "international faculty" and number 5 in the world for the "international experience" that it provides to students. In the Financial Times "research rank", HKUST places 20th in the world. The research rank is a rating of faculty publications in 40 international academic and practitioner journals that are considered to be the most prestigious and respected in their fields.
