HKUST Business School
With an uncompromising commitment to quality, HKUST Business School has nurtured generations of business professionals and leaders. We champion excellence and inspire our students to do the same.
In this spirit, Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) serves as a global honor society that recognizes academic achievement and personal excellence in business education, while providing a valuable platform for its members to connect with like-minded peers. Each year, the BGS HKUST Chapter brings together high-achieving students, with an honoree serving as a role model who inspires members to pursue excellence both on campus and beyond.
We are deeply honored to welcome Ms. Bonnie CHAN, Chief Executive Ofcer of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, as this year’s Chapter Honoree. A respected leader in the global nancial community, she brings extensive experience across capital markets and professional services, with a distinguished career spanning senior roles in both regional and international contexts. As a member of HKUST Business School Advisory Council, she also provides invaluable guidance to the School’s development. I encourage members to draw inspiration from Ms. Chan’s remarkable achievements as you embark on your journey toward the next level of success.
In fostering a culture of excellence, our new Chapter Advisors, Professor KOH Tat Koon and Professor ZHENG Rong, will lend their insight and experience to support members in navigating a rapidly evolving world, particularly in areas shaped by the digital economy and AI.
I also call upon all newly inducted members to uphold the values of BGS—high principles and superior achievement—and to carry this spirit forward in your communities. By strengthening our culture of excellence and deepening our engagement with esteemed global networks, we will continue to create a strong basis for sustained excellence in
the years ahead.
My warmest congratulations to all inductees this year.
