WANG Yizheng, a second-year PhD student in the Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management (ISOM), received the Lingzi Lu Memorial Award at the 2026 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Boston. The award recognizes his promising achievements and potential in statistics, reflects his dedication to statistical research, and brings pride to the HKUST community
JSM is one of the largest annual gatherings of statisticians and data scientists, bringing together researchers from around the world to share ideas and advances shaping the future of data-driven discovery. While attending the occasion to receive the award, Wang also participated in academic exchanges and discussions across the broader research community.
