The MSc Mentorship Program 2026/27 officially commenced with its Mentors’ Training Workshop in August, bringing together dedicated mentors as they prepare to support the next generation of MSc students.

The workshop focused on equipping mentors with practical mentoring skills, including building trust-based relationships, unlocking mentees’ potential through meaningful conversations, harnessing the power of active listening, and fostering actionable behavioural growth. Through interactive discussions and experience sharing, participants gained valuable insights to strengthen mentor-mentee connections throughout the year.

Mr. Chris TSANG, Assistant Dean (Administration) and MSc Program Director, together with Ms. Salad KWOK, Head of MSc Programs, joined the event to show support and express their appreciation to our mentors and celebrated the continued growth of the program, with an impressive 87 mentors confirmed this year.

A special highlight of the workshop was an exclusive preview of the newly established HKUST Business School Central in Admiralty, where mentors had the opportunity to tour the new premises.

With enhanced mentoring capabilities and a shared passion for giving back, our mentors are ready to begin another rewarding year of mentorship.
