Recipients of the distinguished teaching award highlight the Business School’s commitment to teaching brilliance.
Six faculty members from the Business School have received the Michael G. Gale Medal for Distinguished Teaching since the award began in 1994. Established by the University Council, the award was set up to commemorate the late founding Council Member, Michael G. Gale, for his distinguished service and outstanding contributions to the development of HKUST. A medal is awarded annually to a member of the academic staff who has demonstrated excellence and devotion to teaching, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. Recipients represent the highest qualities of teaching and learning.
Each year, the School’s Franklin Prize for Teaching Excellence also recognizes business faculty members for their outstanding teaching performance. We are thankful to the Larry and Mei Kwong Franklin Endowment Fund for supporting this annual award through its generous donation.”
