Our ongoing efforts to encourage social responsibility were reflected in the first edition of the Positive Impact Rating (PIR), which was released at the World Economic Forum at Davos in January 2020. The HKUST Business School was judged one of the top 30 business schools globally, and one of the top two business schools in Asia, for its ‘positive impact’ on society.
Organized by the PIR Association, a non-profit group in Switzerland, with the support of international student organizations and non-governmental organizations, the new PIR rating surveyed students at top business schools worldwide. Respondents were asked to rate the impact of their schools in three areas: energizing, educating, and engaging.
The recognition of the HKUST Business School in the PIR rating confirms our international standing as a force for sustainability and socio-economic advancement. It also highlights our commitment to inspiring talented individuals to engage with society and make the world a better place for all.
We at the HKUST Business School are committed to preparing our students and graduates to play their part in addressing some of the challenges our world is facing.
