The 2022 Annual Meeting of the HKUST Business School Advisory Council concluded successfully on November 16. The meeting is one of the most important occasions where the School receives members’ valuable advice and guidance, in charting the path forward for sustainable business education.
Presided by the Council Chairman Dr. Hans Michael JEBSEN (left), who is also the Chairman of the Jebsen Group, the half-day meeting started with remarks made by HKUST President and The Morningside Professor of Life Science, Professor Nancy IP (right). She shared the latest developments of the University. Members expressed great interest in the synergetic impact of our two campuses in Clear Water Bay and Guangzhou as the combined strength of the two campuses is set to bring HKUST to a new level of success.
Following a presentation made by Dean of the Business School Professor TAM Kar Yan, members offered many solid recommendations for the School, not only to build on its areas of expertise, but also ride on the new wave of opportunities in the challenging post-COVID economy.
The School Advisory Council consists of 27 prominent local and overseas business leaders from various industries.
The annual meeting once again has proven to be productive with important advice and support to the School for its future development. Thanks to all members’ dedication and invaluable contributions, the School would be better positioned to reach new heights.
