
Dr Eric Li
Dr Eric Li is the Senior Partner of Li, Tang, Chen & Co., a well-established certified public accountants firm in Hong Kong. He was a member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region from 1991 to 2004 and Chairman of its Public Accounts Committee since 1995.
He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1978 and became President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA, formerly the Hong Kong Society of Accountants) in 1994. He was named the first ‘Accountant of the Year’ by the HKICPA in 1993 and received the first ‘International Accountant Award’ from the Association of International Accountants in 2002.
Dr. Li is currently a Board Member of the International Federation of Accountants and serves as Court Member, Trustee, Advisor and Adjunct Professor of several universities both locally and overseas. He is appointed to numerous Government Advisory Boards and Committees, and is concurrently an independent non-executive director of several publicly listed companies in Hong Kong, China and England. He holds an honorary Doctorate degree of Law, an honorary Doctorate degree in Social Sciences as well as other university honorary fellowships.
In recognition of his many public services, Dr. Li was awarded the Queen’s Badge of Honour in 1988; appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1991; named a ‘Global Leaders for Tomorrow’ by the World Economic Forum in 1993; awarded the honour of an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1996 and the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2003.

Mrs Betty Yuen
Mrs Betty Yuen, Managing Director of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, is the first ethnic Chinese ever appointed to this position in the 100 years’ history of the Company and also the first woman chief executive in the company.
Prior to her appointment as Managing Director in 2002, Mrs Yuen was Director - Finance and Planning of the company with responsibilities for government relations and regulatory affairs, corporate strategy and planning, finance, accounting and legal matters.
A qualified Chartered Accountant by training, Mrs Yuen has gained extensive experience and knowledge in the energy sector in the region since 1986 when she joined ExxonMobil, CLP’s joint venture partner in power generation in Hong Kong.
Mrs Yuen, named as “Business Woman of the Year” in 2004 by Veuve Clicquot, is committed to leading CLP Power as a world-class electric utility providing a reliable supply of electricity at reasonable costs and in an environmentally friendly manner. The Company’s support to the community is multi-faceted ranging from environmental and energy efficiency programmes to leadership and talent development, philanthropic contributions and corporate sponsorships. Coupled with a pledge for performance excellence, Mrs Yuen strives to keep CLP not only a household name in Hong Kong, but one that makes meaningful difference in people’s lives and powers the continued growth and success of the community.
Mrs Yuen was educated in Hong Kong and received her business degrees from the University of Toronto, Canada before starting her career in public accounting with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Toronto in 1979.
