To nurture students to “create impacts with a global and strategic mindset,” the HKUST Global Business (GBUS) Program hosted its flagship event – HKUST Global Leadership Forum by inviting business or community leaders to share insights on leadership and other contemporary topics with the students.
MBA alumna, Mrs. Christine IP, Managing Director & CEO Greater China, United Overseas Bank Hong Kong (UOBHK), was invited to be the speaker of the event.
In the lively forum themed “Banking and Art: Bonding with Employees, Clients and Community”, Mrs. Ip highlighted the steadfast effort of UOBHK in arts and how it makes a difference in society. She discussed UOBHK's involvement in and partnership with Art Central and shared insights into how UOBHK uses social developments, particularly in art, children, and education, to connect employees, clients, and the community beyond its role as a financial service provider. This keynote shows our students how they can integrate their passion and profession to serve others and make their lives more fulfilling.
