As part of the strategic partnership between the School and HSBC, the HKUST-HSBC Digital Leadership Online Program helps accelerate the bank’s digital journey, and facilitate Fintech talent development.
Mr. David GRIMME, Chief Operating Officer of HSBC Asia Pacific, and Professor TAM Kar Yan, Dean of HKUST Business School, officiates to kick off this 10-month learning journey in early February.
Over 40 participants at COO level from 10 countries will learn the different aspects of digital leadership from our faculty including Professors Henry CHANG, Chris DORAN, Allen HUANG, HUI Kai Lung, Joseph SALVACRUZ and Jerome YEN, followed by conducting action learning projects led by Professor Doran.
To ensure participants the best learning experience, all learning modules will take place in the virtual classroom. This brings forward a new generation of innovative education that allows participants worldwide to connect and immerse in highly interactive sessions similar to that in a physical classroom.
Being the first in Hong Kong, the School’s virtual classroom is equipped with a curved high-definition video wall, intuitive tools, and other innovative features to create a highly engaging environment for students from anywhere in the world.
