The HKUST Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2022 returned in physical format on the HKUST Clear Water Bay campus for local students in early November, with a supplementary Virtual Information Day held separately for oversea students with international qualifications. The event attracted close to 30,000 visitors and audiences.
The HKUST Business School organized a series of programs and consultation sessions, in which prospective students and their families had the chance to talk to the School’s professors, current students, alumni and admission officers in-person and online. To provide an experiential journey to the physical participants, we offered workshops and taster classes with various themes, including case cracking, negotiation, marketing game and start-up PowerPoint pitching.
Associate Dean (Undergraduates) Prof. Allen HUANG hosted an admission overview online for non-local students.
Associate Director of Undergraduate Programs Prof. SIU Kam Wing hosted a JUPAS admission talk for the Business School.
During the program sessions, prospective students and their families had the chance to talk to professors, undergraduates, alumni and admission officers of the Business School.
Prospective students were excited about the valuable opportunity and practical thematic workshops.
The consultation booths were filled with enthusiastic visitors, who were eager to learn more about the curriculum and opportunities that the School offers.
