Every year, the Hong Kong Youth & Tertiary Students Association will award ten outstanding university students for their excellent academic achievements and great contributions to the society. One of the winners this year is our Year 4 undergraduate student CHEUNG Pok To Jason, who majors in Marketing and Management.

At the award presentation ceremony, Jason shared that he struggled with his academic performances when he was young. He understands that many students do not receive sufficient support under the current education system with a typical large class size. To alleviate this problem, Jason founded a startup, EduTech, to cater for learning diversity with the help of AI technology.

With a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, Jason aspires to solve societal problems and create positive impact in society with what he learnt from the University. He envisions the future of education to be more digitalized and “smart”. Looking forward, he hopes to drive this trend in Hong Kong and other APAC countries to help students learn more effectively.
