[eNews] HKUST Team Achieves Great Results at the Hong Kong Local Final of the CFA Institute Research Challenge

A team of four of our undergraduate business students came second in the Hong Kong Local Final of CFA Institute Research Challenge 2021-22! Congratulations to CHUNG Tsai-hsi (BBA in Global Business and Finance, Year 4), HUNG Yun-yeh (BBA in Global Business, Year 2), LIN Chun-yen (BBA in Global Business and Finance, Year 3), and Neil Edwin Santiago SY (BBA in Global Business and Finance, Year 3). Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Professor Lynn PI, Associate Professor of Business Education of Department of Finance, who guided and supported the team as a faculty advisor.

The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that offers university students hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Students are assessed on their analytical, valuation, report writing, and presentation skills by simulating the real-life experience of a research analyst. The final round of the Hong Kong competition was conducted virtually this year.

Congratulations to Tsai-his, Yun-yeh, Chun-yen, and Neil.
