Founded in 1991, the Business Student’s Union, HKUSTSU (BSU) is the first student-led union established at HKUST and the only union representing all business students. With over 1,600 members, the Union aims to enhance students’ knowledge and exposure to the business world and improve bonding between its members and corporate partners.
The Union celebrated its 30th anniversary this year with the theme “Saxum”. Saxum is the Latin word for “boulders” – a stone that symbolizes a strong foundation for others to rely on. Despite facing various challenges caused the pandemic, BSU pledges to take on the spirit of Saxum and continued its mission of serving student members with resilience and adaptability through summer camps, enrichment talks, and other exciting programs.
