Last month, the 4th Annual Value Investing Challenge 2020 concluded successfully. Co-organized by the Department of Finance and Chartwell Capital, the challenge was exclusively designed for finance students at HKUST to gain experience in practical value investing to complement their studies.
Aiming to promote value investing, the challenge also encouraged students to perform fundamental bottom-up stock research in the Asia Pacific region. Participants were required to value a publicly listed stock and present their research.
