As a leader in business research, the HKUST Business School is committed to boosting our international understanding of business culture and practice in the region.

The School has unveiled a new Lay Person Talk Series that aims to share our academic research with students and the HKUST community through layperson’s terms. In the first talk entitled Does Common Sense Make Sense?”, Professor Utpal BHATTACHARYA from the Department of Finance shared his study on “superstitious trading”, while Prof Martha JEONG from the Department of Management discussed her study on “Does Being Nice Help in Negotiation?”
