Stress has become an inevitable by-product of working in a modern yet busy lifestyle for many people. In particular, the recent pandemic has given rise to various challenges, creating even more stress in our lives. However, there are simple yet powerful ways for us to ease tension and regain a balance in our daily lives.
On June 18, we were delighted to have two experienced coaches – mind and body trainer Cavan CHAN (MBA alumnus) and actor-instructor Natasha JAIN – to host an online workshop of Stress Management: Optimizing your Mind and Body and shared useful mental and physical exercises to help participants navigate through their stress and emotions.
Throughout the session, Cavan and Natasha explored unique techniques and guided participants to rethink the role stress played in their daily lives. They also provided effective tips to manage stress and encouraged participants to recognize everyday triggers. This was followed by the exploration of a range of useful skills that could be incorporated in their daily routine.
With extensive experience working in performing arts, Natasha also taught participants various theatre techniques renowned for building emotional resilience. On the other hand, as a passionate ICF-ACC certified coach and NASM certified trainer, Cavan showed various ways to utilize food, sleep, and the external environment to maximize their wellbeing.
The 75-minute workshop concluded on a high note with participants feeling refreshed and energized.
