Since 2018, HKUST Business School has joined Deloitte China’s “Best Managed Companies (BMC)” Program as its sole Strategic Academic Partner to recognize excellence in organizational success and achievement. As the first program of its kind in China, the School has been playing an active role in identifying a list of best-managed companies in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
The Deloitte BMC Program is a global initiative that identifies and recognizes private companies with advanced management ideas and excellent business performance. First launched in Canada in 1993, the Program has expanded to cover over 20 countries, with awards presented to more than 1,000 well operated, far-sighted private companies around the world.
Supported by the School, the Program published and delivered a series of thought-leadership articles and interactive webinars related to China’s Covid-19 new normal and best business practices to promote the second Deloitte China BMC Program.
Well-respected professors from HKUST, including Professor QIANG Yang , Professor XU Yan, and Professor Winnie PENG joined expert panels to discuss cutting edge topics in different areas, from contemporary CSR trends and practices in China, powerful examples of AI for good, to the latest family business trends (conducted in Mandarin).
