HKUST becomes the first university in Asia-Pacific to join EY’s Advanced Technology Tax Lab in a unique collaborative partnership.
The partnership brings together the expertise of HKUST as a global leader in business education, data science, machine learning, and business research to work with the Tax Lab and solve complex tax issues through the use and application of innovative technologies.

The partnership offers a platform for joint research and technology development opportunities in applying emerging technology to practical tax scenarios between EY partners and academic staff and students at HKUST. This also includes practical tax technology case study projects, speaking opportunities for faculty members and internship and graduate employment opportunities for students.
