Opening with a welcome note from the Career Development Advisory Council Chairman Prof. Albert IP, the meeting focused on driving key initiatives to better support students and build their confidence in navigating the rapidly changing AI era. Dean Frederik ANSEEL shared the School’s latest development and strategic direction, while Associate Dean Prof. KOH Tat Koon gave an update on undergraduate students’ needs and concerns.

Dynamic discussions with our esteemed council members yielded invaluable insights to enrich the student experience. The conversation focused on bridging academia with the real business world, broadening industry horizons beyond traditional industries, and encouraging an international mindset in emerging sectors. Council members also emphasized fostering entrepreneurship through startup connections and sharpening students’ crucial interpersonal skills.

Building on these perspectives, the meeting nailed down some key actionable items to help students, including expanded corporate networking, enhanced regional company visits, and direct mentorship opportunities. We extend our deepest thanks to the Career Development Advisory Council for their continuous partnership in shaping a future-ready workforce.
