A study on K-pop songwriters co-conducted by Assistant Prof. LEE Yonghoon (Department of Management) and INSEAD was featured by Korea JoongAng Daily. The research pointed to the importance of K-pop songwriters expanding their network at their early careers.

SCMP, DW and The Economist cited insights from Prof. Edwin LAI, Director of Center for Economic Development, in articles about China’s yuan (RMB) internationalization and its financial reforms. He said China is torn between the wish for RMB internationalization and the reluctance to open its capital account and liberalize its financial sector. He also opined that the future of Cross-border Interbank Payment System (CIPS) depends on how successful China is in establishing RMB as a global currency.
