Practical relevance is placed front and center in our education and research. Our recently launched HKUST-Wisers Tourism Index is a case in point. Being Hong Kong’s first forward-looking Tourism Index, it supports the recovery of the local tourism industry. As our society is recovering from the pandemic-stricken economy, we will continue to work closely with industry stakeholders and open up new avenues in building a more robust and resilient future.
