Congratulate the HKUST MBA team formed by Amy LIU, Marshall MA, Bryan WANG and WONG Chayanin for winning the first runner-up prize at the Sasin School of Management's Bangkok Business Challenge. The team representing Allegrow Biotech, together with its founder Laurence LAU, came in second place out of 276 teams this year. Allegrow is a group of scientists, engineers and innovators working on platforms for the development and manufacturing of cell therapy.

Adjunct Associate Professor CHOI Joon Nak, the team coach from the Department of Management, attributes their success to the team’s immense hard work in preparing for the final round, their teamwork, and ability to answer tough questions.

The competition pushed the team to its very limits. They couldn't have done this without the active support, from the feedback and mentorship they received from HKUST, the MBA Program, and beyond. We would like to congratulate them on the big win and wish them the best going forward!
