Kellogg-HKUST EMBA Ranks World’s No.1 for Eighth Time
In the latest Financial Times (FT) Global EMBA Rankings, the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program is ranked No.1 in the world, topping the highly respected chart for the eighth time.
The Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program was launched in 1998 to offer the best management education for international talent. Since 2007 the program has been crowned the best for eight times, standing unrivalled in the world. It is a testament to the program’s consistent excellence and uncompromising admission requirements, which has attracted over 900 brightest and elite students over the past two decades.
According to the FT Global EMBA Rankings 2017, the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program has achieved outstanding performance in a number of surveyed fields. On career progress, the program graduates achieved the highest average salary three years after graduation, reaching US$478,379 (HK$3,733,795) per annum. They achieved an average salary increase of 62 per cent, an increase that reflects the added value provided by the program.
“We are very pleased with this record-setting achievement, which is the best gift to mark the program’s 20th anniversary,” said Prof Tam Kar Yan, Dean of HKUST Business School. “The encouraging outcome will drive us to further enhance our academic excellence and introduce new and timely elements to meet the changing needs of the world.”
In the midst of technological advancements that are set to transform the business sector globally, the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program will introduce new courses and workshops on topical areas such as FinTech, and also on “One Belt One Road”, to help executives harness opportunities in future.
No.1 in Asia in Business and Economics
Also in October, in the Times Higher Education 2018 Subject Rankings, the HKUST Business School has been ranked No.1 in Asia or the world’s No.14 in Business and Economics. It is a ranking of world-class universities’ overall broad provision in the fields of business and economics, covering academic prestige and research excellence as well as the teaching environment with an emphasis on the undergraduate experience.
The Times Higher Education Rankings by Subjects employs 13 performance indicators used in its overall World University Rankings. It highlights the universities that are leading across business and management, accounting and finance and economics and econometrics subjects.
HKUST ascended to No.1 in Hong Kong
Meanwhile, HKUST is placed Hong Kong’s No.1 and Asia’s No.3 by the QS Asia University Rankings.
