25 Exhibit 7: Types of insurance products offered by participating companies in HKUST’s survey Notable Findings from HKUST’s Insurtech Manpower Survey We conducted an in-depth survey between March and April 2022 to gain understanding of the demand and supply for insurtech manpower in Hong Kong. In this section, we will share some of the findings derived from the feedback from 16 industry professionals who represented 13 insurance companies. All of these companies are well-established insurance firms at a mature stage of business (i.e., post-revenue or post-profit) and most of them have substantial years of operation (i.e., more than 10 years) in the Hong Kong market. Among the 13 companies involved in the survey, one was a digital insurer and the others were traditional insurers undergoing digital transformation, including a reinsurance company.
