21 6. Career Motivators Reflect Broader Employment Priorities and Future Intentions Respondents show strong interest not only in current GSF career opportunities but also in future engagement. When asked how likely they were to explore job opportunities in the GSF sector in the next 12 months, 51% rated their likelihood at 5 or above on a 7-point scale. Respondents’ motivations for pursuing careers in GSF closely mirror broader employment priorities. When asked to rank factors that would enhance their interest in GSF careers, competitive salaries and benefits emerged as a leading motivator, with over half of the respondents (51.0%) placing it among their top three choices. Professional growth and development opportunities were also highly valued, with 23.9% of the respondents ranking it as the most important factor, and 47.0% included it in their top three. Other frequently selected motivators included work-life balance and company commitment to sustainability.
