High Awareness but Mixed Understanding A strong majority (73.8%) of respondents have heard of GSF, indicating widespread awareness of the term among young adults in Hong Kong. However, while many correctly associate GSF with environmental sustainability and ESG factors, some misconceptions persist. Through a multiple-choice question that allowed respondents to select more than one statement they believed to be correct, the results revealed that while a majority of respondents (73.7%) correctly recognized that GSF supports environmental sustainability and reduces carbon footprints, nearly one-third (30.3%) mistakenly believed that GSF is only concerned with renewable energy projects.
