About 71.7% of the respondents fall within four age groups, ranging from 20 to 44. It is important to note that the survey sample resembles more of the working population rather than the entire population of Hong Kong. The occupation of the respondents falls predominantly under white collar and service sectors (74.7%) with 33.8% in “administrator and professional” and 40.9% in “clerical and service”. This corroborates with the age distribution, in which 96.0% of the respondents are working adults who have the financial capacity to purchase products and services from virtual banks and insurers.
