Dear friends of HKUST Business School,
The question I am probably asked the most is: “How do you prepare students for an uncertain future?” At HKUST, we encourage students to shape their own future thinking by exposing them to provocative ideas and perspectives from the business community. Over the past month, we have had the privilege of engaging with outstanding leaders who challenged our students to think more deeply about the world they are in. From a senior figure in the global capital markets serving as a role model for the Beta Gamma Sigma HKUST Chapter, to a banking executive sharing candid perspectives on navigating the intersection of AI and geopolitics at our student forum, these engagements reflect our effort to create space for meaningful exchange. They foster an environment where perspectives are shared openly, and where questions do not always have straightforward answers, helping our students make sense of the future of business, think critically, and act with purpose. None of this would be possible without the openness and generosity of our partners.
