In contrast to the business outlook, companies are increasingly choosing to stay in Hong Kong and continue their business here (Figure 6). In 2021, 56% of the respondents were uncertain whether their companies/ offices would leave or not, and only 40% expressed their intention to stay. However, by 2024, 78% of the respondents made it clear that their companies/ offices would not move out of Hong Kong. This was in marked contrast to the mere 15%who hesitated and did not provide a decisive answer.
