In this mode, learning follows a fixed schedule with the instructor who delivers the training to geographic-dispersed learners online. Popular platforms used include Zoom and Teams. Synchronous learning provides more opportunities for interaction and discussion as compared with its asynchronous counterpart. However, it cannot be scaled up significantly because it still relies on real-time interaction despite participants are in different locations. Of course, the content can be archived and readable by a much larger audience.
