The Fintech Talent Development, Competency, and Manpower Study 53 Sources of Fintech Professionals Technology Skills Most Heavily Credit Weighted, Followed by General Business In analyzing the credit weight of the programs, the courses are classified into one of the following areas: (1) technology; (2) general business; (3) finance; and (4) others. As shown in Exhibit 21, on average, the UG courses spread across all these four areas with an emphasis on the area of technology (40% in technology and around 20% each in the remaining areas). While for the TPg courses, the area of finance has the highest credit weight (around 50%), followed by around 40% on the area of technology, and remaining about 10% on the area of general business and others.
