Two winning teams from the WBB case competition will represent the HKUST Business School for international case competitions.

In a week-long case training week, with lectures provided, seven teams of WBB students competed on February 17, for tickets to participate in the Sauder Summit Global Case Competition and the RSM STAR Case Competition.

Each team worked on solving the 24-hour case on the Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team and gave a 15-min presentation followed by a 10-min Q&A session. The judges, Professor Stephen NASON (WBB Program Director) and Professor Veronique LAFON-VINAIS (WBB Program Associate Director), praised the teams for their effort and the focused, comprehensive and creative case solving proposals.
