HKUST Business School’s Fintech Experts Join HKMA CBDC Expert Group

The School of Business and Management of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST Business School) today announced that two of the School’s experts in fintech — Dean Professor TAM Kar Yan and Associate Dean Professor Allen HUANG, have joined the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s (HKMA) Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Expert Group to help shed light on the new electronic form of central bank money, and contribute to Hong Kong’s development into a major global fintech hub.
